Every transdiscipline or discipline has its set of definitions, or concepts. The systems thinking transdiscipline has its conceptual minimum. This course is your start in studies of this conceptual minimum. The advanced list of the systems thinking concepts is introduced in “The main concepts of systems approach” chapter of the “Systems Thinking” online course.
Setting up systems thinking is similar to a foreign language study. You will have to master many concepts and be able to apply them in working and personal projects. You will have to practice (working and personal projects) and spend time similar to the time you have spent studying a foreign language.
This is why you have to find time systematically for studying the course and doing homework, using the “thinking through writing” practice (preferably, it should be done for 12 weeks; more details on “thinking by writing” practice is provided in the Aisystant social media). To master a foreign language, one needs from several months to several years of regular study, and sometimes one also needs a teacher. You will need the same when studying systems thinking.
